IN-CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Sky McCall
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Age: 17
Canon Point: post 3x12
Original Universe or Alternate Universe? AU - genderswapped Scott McCall. (The rest of the cast is the same)

Personality: Those who don't really get to know Sky would probably describe her as "nice". They're not wrong. Sky McCall is a nice girl, a kind individual who likes making friends just as much as the next person. She's the type of girl who may not seem to have too much to say at first, but once you get to know her, she's an open book and a warm heart.

She has her normal, teenaged-girl worries in life, but nothing that pushes her so far as to distract her from what's most important to her: the people in her life. That's because Sky is incredibly loyal, almost to a fault. She will do anything to protect her family and friends, to see that everyone comes out alive and kicking, even if she has to tear into whoever is causing the trouble in question all by herself. Once she's attached to someone, it's hard to lose her trust - but if it's lost, it's also hard to get it back.

But she's not without her other faults! Far from it, in fact. Sky has a bit of a short temper, and suffers from pretty awful tunnel vision should she end up stuck on a particular thought, idea or task. This double-whammy often leads to her speaking or acting before thinking, which can definitely exacerbate things. Still, once she clears her head (either on her own, or via a literal smack upside the head from someone close to her), she will fall over herself to make up for any damage she's caused. She is also a bit naive in the sense that she firmly believes in good-vs-evil and them-vs-us. She is not so black and white as to let it blind her to the overall truth, but while she tries her very hardest to see the good in everyone, some people still get firmly wedged into the "them" category, never to return.

It's also interesting to note that Sky herself doesn't tend to cause conflict. She actually tends to get dropped right in the middle of it, and therefore has to deal with it. She's become more and more adept at this - which is partially a good thing and partially just a sign of the state of things in Beacon Hills lately. Actually, if it were up to her, violence would not be the answer and things would never come to a head anyway! Yet somehow, she manages to find trouble, or it manages to find her. (She likes to think she handles it like a champ, though.)

Before she was bitten, Sky was nothing special. Average grades, a nobody in a sea of teenagers, part of a lacrosse team she never got to play for... She even had asthma. The bite fixed the asthma, gave her the strength to become the best player on the team - co-captain, even... buuut her grades started sucking pretty epically and, while she was maybe less of a nobody, she didn't exactly soar to popularity. You win some, you lose some. Sky may have accepted her "werewolfitude" at this point, especially at her current canonpoint, but that doesn't mean she considers it solely a perk or an advantage. She actually sees it as a mixed blessing. She's stronger, sure - she's more capable of protecting those she loves and has risen (mostly) gracefully into her place and identity as the True Alpha. Still, she sometimes sees her abilities as a curse, becoming frustrated when she has to put her daily life and ~normal teenage things~ on hold in order to deal with wolf-y things. Then again, when dealing with wolf-y things often involves stuff like chaining yourself down on the full moon until you learn to control yourself, fighting other werewolves and lizard-things and evil druid types, or generally just making a bloody mess out of life, I suppose you can't really blame her.

Background: Her story progresses pretty much as canon. So here you go. Just replace "Scott" with "Sky" and "he" with "she". Yep.

Some things to note:
  • The lacrosse team is co-ed in this 'verse. Because I'm a cheater. Some of the canonly-unnamed teammates are also genderswapped to make it less weird.
  • In order to keep the coach from making her leave the winter formal (s1 ep11), she grabbed one of her female teammates - not Danny.
  • Yes, she still dated Allison, and Stiles is still her bff.

Other Notables: PB is Selena Gomez. Because she's goddamned adorable.
